The plugin does the job required
Excellent plugin!!!
Lately, I am getting a lot of spam comments on my blog and deleting them manually is an arduous task. Once, in place of deleting spam comments, I, by mistake, deleted legit, useful comments. So,
I Love This Addon!!!
This should seriously be a built option, but the plugin saves you from literally SO much spam. Thank you so much creators!

It does prevent the link from being visible but…
doesn’t remove the field from the comment input form. As a result, commenters might enter a URL and it doesn’t appear when they view the comment, so it’s making them waste their time.
