Meanwhile in 2021 the plugin could get a new interface … it is hard and confusing to edit there anything.

Exactly what I needed. Easy install and setup. It allowed me to have plain text paste by default so my client won’t get messy code from pasting pre-formatted content. Especially from vendor’s PDF file
