Could be great, works mostly, but NO support. Bugs rarely fixed. If that works for you, go for it. I’m ready to look for an alternative. And they are out there.

This is a great slider what works with Gutenberg editor. Although the settings are not done within the editor, I like the fact that they are managed under a separate space under the admin left column
