Emails were being blocked as spam, I guess. Installed Easy WP SMTP to send email via a specified SMTP host and emails were then able to go through. Glad it worked as it’s a good plugin that handles

this is currently a little buggy in 2021 and needs to update OK for Coding on Your home Server / localhost but not live site. currently Developer please update Last updated 6 months ago
