Great Analytics Plugin
I have been using this since 2025, even on big websites. It is easy to set up and privacy-friendly. You can use it without cookie and without cookie-opt-in. Currently I would choose this over Matomo.

Connect to Self-Hosted Web Analytics works fine
Very good setup and easy connect to own “Self-Hosted Web Analytics”. I enjoy analyzing the webpage visitors, because it’s more clearly than GA. And of course GDPR friendly (tracking without Cookies).
matomo grows, this plugin does not
it’s a useless plugin, first because it doesn work and second because it doesn’t follow Matomo’s own steps to include the tracking code. I quote “The token_auth feature as well as Matomo’s HTTP Report
