Thank you SO SO MUCH for creating this masterpiece of a plugin. After Amazon took images out of sitestripe I basically had given up thinking I could get images back and I’ve left all of my pages with the ugly funky code reminants that the sitestripe images left. You have given me a renewed hope to clean up the site – this plugin works beautifully and is so simple and easy – EXACTLY what I was looking for. Cannot thank you enough – even though I don’t need the V2 I may buy it to give you money to support this plugin.
Easy to use and I like the design of the horizontal box. Just need to insert the shortcode with your desired ASIN product number.
Error 429 Too many requests
After installing the plugin and generating the API on the Amazon website and inputting the correct info but the Plugin and the Amazon API Scratpad give the error: Error 429
So far, I haven’t been able to make any successful requests. They always return the same error message: Error 429 – Too many requests.
I sent a message to the HELP center at Amazon. Still, I’m doubtful they will remedy the problem judging by all of the other people having the same issues and nothing actually mentioned about a fix at all.
Amazon’s excuse was that I didn’t have 3 sales which is BS because I have over 100 in the past two months. So Amazon is being a dick with Their API which I found out wasn’t an uncommon issue from a lot of Amazon Associates out there dealing with API problems.
Before getting this plugin, I recommend that you test the API on the Amazon Scratchpad first. If you get errors there, this plugin will not work.
I’ve stopped ripping my hair out dealing with Amazon Support and moved on to another ‘Working’ plugin with no API needed.
Pissed off because I really wanted to use this one too.
The plugin does what it says and is very well maintained.
It does the work very well!
