The two plugins have similar sounding, but different, function names. If you mistakenly install the wrong plugin, you will get a “call to undefined function” error. If you want to create next/previous links for your pages, please check out:

The plugin works great on my 5.4 copy and does exactly what I need: give me the next/previous links for a specific category, rather than all the categories the post is in like the built-in functions do. Thank you!
