Overview
Anti-Captcha is a transparent spam solution that does not require any end-user interaction.
It is based on a nonce key, which is dynamically inserted using randomly generated (and obfuscated) javascript.
The aim of this plugin is to prevent automated attacks (by bots) on the following WordPress actions:
- Posting comments
- Registering for a new account
- Requesting a lost password
When a comment is posted without a valid Anti-Captcha token, it shall be instantly marked as spam. This way, you can always manually approve this comment in hindsight if it appeared to be sincere.

This plugin does not work in recent WordPress versions. It filters out every comment as spam, also those by humans, not bots.

For my personnal need I extended the anti-captcha plugin simply by adding an add_action() and the corresponding function : now my booking forms are protected and it works like a charm, out of the box.

Works very good, only a few slip through

I have this plugin installed for a couple of years now, and only need to delete one or two spam comments that slip through. No captcha.
