Archive Content with Archived Post Status

This is a well maintained, perfectly working, nicely extendable and configurable plugin that does exactly what it says, no nagging about “Upgrade to Pro”. It works with WordPress to add a new possibility within the established status concept, not outside of it, hence very little extra added complexity.

I have installed, and been using, this plugin on all sites I manage for about ten years. I train my clients and content authors to archive, not trash, content that should no longer be published, for any reason and only trash test, erronous or vastly incomplete content. There ar plenty space ikn tghe database to store the history of your site content, so why irreversibly delete it?

Wholeheartedly recommended for almost any WordPress site. Could have been part of WP core.

Plugin does nothing but take up space!

Es o fue un gran plugin. El problema es que lleva sin actualizarse mucho tiempo, y las opciones de configuración son también mínimas sin poder cambiar la nota de archivado. Existen plugins mas actualizado que funcionan mejor en las nuevas versiones.

El problema es que con el nuevo editor de gutenberg, no podremos archivar los posts.

Poniendo de nuevo el clásico edito no lo he probado, pero bueno, os recomiendo usar otros plugins que hagan la misma función pues estará mejor adaptado.
