usefull and easy to use
Backup Migration Certainly not as simple to use as BackUpWordPress. Unfortunately BackUpWordPress is no longer supported and will not back up on the latest version of WordPress for me. Hence I thought I’d try Backup Migration..
Unfortunately it has too much fluff/extras for my needs. I guess for some the separate database tables are a good thing? Perhaps I overlooked a way to backup just the .sql database like via phpMyAdmin?
I just want to schedule backups of my .sql database on a weekly/monthly basis.
If anyone has any other options, I would be most appreciated.
Thanks for the free version of your plugin anyway.
Using it on a regular basis. No size limits in free version unlike other tools. Mostly no problems. It can get tricky once you have several test and staging sites and move data from one to the other. I have had sites broken this way (usually the fix was just adjusting the URL in the WordPress database config tables), but I’m not even sure where the problem occured.
very helpful!
