Works like a charm 🙂
The plugin is doing what is says. But it is too much overloaded with options. I did not test how if affect performance, like one of the reviewers complained, but I could easily believe it is true. I decided not to use it.
Counter Block Is A great plugin for WordPress website. I recommend for every WordPress user use this plugin .
It works and looks nice, but it has an enormous amount of dependencies for such a simple functionality. Before you know it, it loads 600KB of Javascript for something that can be accomplished in less that 1KB. To make it worse, all these javascript libraries are loaded if if there’s no countdown on the page.
The plugin provides decent features set. I feel the amount of customisation options is way over the top; it’s not going to work well in the future with Global Styles.
Unfortunately, this plugin does not allow itself to be extended with block styles as the block does not save the default block classnames to its outermost wrapper.
