Occasionally, themes forget to set the $content_width variable in functions.php. If they forgot, or if you’d like to change the value that they’ve set, this will let you in your Settings > Media screen.
This is a very helpful plugin. My galleries were only 500 px wide and my theme said it was not their problem. My only question is…will there be an update? Wordfence is going to email me every day now to tell me this plugin has been abandoned. It works perfectly though…and I don’t know how to update the php file on my own.
My mosaic galleries were being displayed at the default 500px width because of my theme, and I couldn’t figure out how to fix it. This plugin did the trick.
Thanks1
While the basics work well, it has a side-effect impacting the generation of custom thumb sizes.
I have a theme not designed for child themes and this plugin just works for changing the content width so i can have my Large image size the size i want.
Works!
