There’s apparently no legacy support for Navis DocumentCloud shortcodes, even though Navis says there is. DocumentCloud is, of course, silent on the issue.

[Update: Tuesday, 25 August 2015 1:08AM CDT]: This is definitely a conflict with WP Rocket. I’ve opened a trouble ticket with them, and I’m adding the same here on the support forum.
[Update: Tuesday, 25 August 2015 6:54PM CDT]: I’ve changed my rating as this is clearly a WP Rocket problem (or a problem with my WP Rocket configuration which hasn’t been a problem previously). Deactivating WP Rocket causes DocumentCloud embeds to render as expected. Even more interestingly, leaving WP Rocket deactivated and turning on Wordfence’s Falcon Engine caching doesn’t interfere with DocumentCloud embeds. Go figure.
