Ecwid by Lightspeed Ecommerce Shopping Cart

I love this plugin. Using it for years and they continue to improve on it. The latest improvement is a big one as it adds better seo value to the urls by removing the product id from the end of the url. Nice one!

The one thing I wish it could do better though is to have better abilities to show products and categories on different pages within WordPress. As it is right now the existing options aren’t great as they’re just a variation of embedding the category Or a single product. To me this is where woocommerce does a much better job of integrating into wordpress.

So I developed two widgets to address this issue. Anybody is interested in them just contact me and I will give you the files. Here are two websites using the two widgets I created. Widget is a reviews widget that pulls in product reviews and the second is a products widget that pulls in products. There are loads of options and customizations for each.

The only complaint that I have is that I had to upgrade to another plan in order to have digital files. Other than that, this works for what I need it for – and I couldn’t be happier…. unless I can downgrade and still have digital files (lol – kidding, mostly).

very simple and easy to use. recommended

I am just starting to use Ecwid but so far it ticks all the boxs that many other platforms could not. The shipping configuration is the best I have used, the interface is easy to navigate and the customer support is great. I highly recommend to anyone selling online. I only wish that they offered a la carte features as I dont need most of them.

This is a great plugin if if you want e-commerce in WordPress and don’t want to be bound by the standard plugins available like WooCommerce or EDD etc. Though I don’t use some of the best features available because I don’t use the Gutenberg editor rather I use the Avada theme it’s still very useful and a great plugin.

Keep up the great work, I definitely recommend this plugin!
