Ok but just won’t get the job done

It’s ok but honestly it’s just too restricted and paywalled. Couldn’t even add more than one filter. I did appreciate that support/dev finally added back a setting they had removed but it’s just so limited now. Also discovered that quite a few posts were just pulled in as gibberish html code.
I also had turned off the ‘Enable Telemetry’ setting and somehow it was back on. And our CSP was still alerting us on this.
Will have to look for another plugin.

Execrise caution!

I was using version 4.2.8 which was called Feedzy RSS Feeds Lite.
Version 4.2.8 has dynamically loaded content, which may be vulnerable to remote code execution on a local wordpress instance. I noticed a couple of values in wp_options are changed to malicous ones, and this feedzy plugin is loading strange, advertisement values into memory/database.
If the Feedzy plugin is benign, it at least has bugs susceptible for injections.
Unforgiveable limitation…

Despite some quirks and shortcomings, the plugin does import RSS feeds. There are quite a few settings that are Pro only, some of which can be overcome with some clever code snippets.
What is unforgivable is limiting you to ONLY ONE FEED SOURCE in the free version of the plugin, want any more feeds you have to pay for the EXPENSIVE annual subscription. Especially when the first line of this plugin’s description states: “The most powerful WordPress RSS aggregator, helping you curate content, autoblog, import RSS & display unlimited RSS feeds within a few minutes.” I will be resuming my search for a different plugin without such limitations.
