This is the best Digital Signage plugin for me. Need author to update this plugin to the latest version and add-on more schedulling functionality. I will donate to this plugin if Author have planning for an update.

Dear Foyer Team
Your Signage plugin is Very robust, Easy to use software. But its essentially needs the following addtions
a) Essentially need timer (Analog and Digital clocks)
b) Essentially needs RSS feeds intergration
c) Essentially fix the page rendering to fit with window, so it can be played with any signage displays with “Play via URL” option. (I am using LG Signage display. The page is not rendering to fit with real page. Its played with zoom in position
Kindly fix these items and update.

Solid Plugin with R-Pi 4 Signage!

I’ve been using Foyer as part of my University project research for the past 5 months, and have found it is reliable and very simple to setup.
I’ve used a combination of media from images, (small 20~mb) local mp4 files, youtube links and local webpages made with Elementor Free and been very pleased with the results. Only PDFs have had not luck for me, but thats not a huge deal for my use case.
I’m happy with the granular level of control for videos where you can hold until it finishes and specify start/stop times.
I wish creating the playlist was more streamlined, creating individual slides then adding them individually to a channel takes a while.
Other than that, its easily the best Open Source project for Signage out there.

Hello
Foyer has been such a great help to display information to the public.
What would make this even better is if we were able to change the time between slides for each slide.
Eg: Slide 1: 10 seconds Slide 2: 30 seconds etc etc.
But other than that it’s been great and will continue using it!

Introduces the Upcoming Events and Recent Posts slide formats. Displays a slide for each of your upcoming events / recent posts, limited to a certain category if you wish. Upcoming Events requires the Theater for WordPress plugin.
Bug fixes:
- Fixed an issue where video and YouTube backgrounds did not play on displays that did not yet include a video or YouTube background (1.7.2). Thanks amosar for troubleshooting!
- Fixed an issue where the end date was not set when selecting a start date for a temporary channel on the edit display screen, and a JavaScript error was thrown in the browser console (1.7.5).
Hey developers!:
- Added support for add-on plugins. You can now code Foyer add-on plugins, including template files that take precedence over Foyer template files (1.7.2).
- Fixed an issue where developers could not use HTML in Theater production titles on the Production and Upcoming productions slide formats (1.7.3).
- Added a ‘foyer/public/enqueue_scripts/before’ action hook that is triggered before the Foyer scripts are enqueued, so add-on plugins can bind events before Foyer does (1.7.4).
