GSpeech TTS – WordPress Text To Speech Plugin

Very easy install on WordPress. Excellent, quick, and personable (human) customer support. But most importantly, the very natural cadence and inflection of the AI-generated voices are unmatched (especially compared to voice options on other blogging platforms). In other instances, I have found myself rewriting sentences to get generated speech to convey the meaning correctly, and not always successfully. Not a problem here, especially with the voice named “James.” Whether with my narratives or poetry, the AI reader conveys the meaning perfectly 99% of the time. Looking forward to honing this tool further. And thanks again to support for going the extra mile.

We use gSpeech on fitnessmanagement.de and are very satisfied: installation, setup, and integration were quick and easy. The player works reliably and makes content much easier for readers to consume—especially when they’re on the go, commuting, or just going about their daily lives.

The practical benefits for editors and audiences are particularly positive: articles can be easily offered as audio, which noticeably improves accessibility and user experience. In addition, it offers stable performance during operation and is easy to use, even without special technical knowledge.

Bottom line: a clear recommendation for anyone looking for a reliable TTS extension for WordPress.

Very useful for people with Long COVID, ME, chronic fatigue, elderly or visually impaired users.
It significantly improves accessibility by allowing content to be listened to instead of read.

However, I’m removing one star because the design customization are very outdated.

Support for this app is 10/10 ! and with postive end-user feedback, this is an OUTSTANDLY AMAZING app. High recommended.

We have used GSpeech on our WIX website to generate audio outputs of our courses in multiple languages. The quality of the translation in voice is superb. As our Vedanta teachings have a global audience the large number of languages available in GSpeech makes our content consumable in many regions and languages. Simon provided prompt solutions to get the audio players properly embedded specifically in our lessons of the courses. With the help of GSpeech we look forward to reaching audience in places where we have not been able to do so far.
