I was aiming to minimise server space taken by my images. This wasn’t the right tool.
I did not see this very high level of disaffection before buying a subscription for 12 months. I just received a email asking if I want to leave a review. Given I cannot make it work, and once I used their error plug, I can see why I would have thought they should wait till I get some sort of response from their support first. I will change my review if they sort out my application issue.
Update. I used theirf fault finding plug in to find the errors and then feed the results into our AI system which identified the issue straight away. All fixed I think now as it is starting to process the images a-bit very slowly.
Free functionality is minimal and completely useless. It’s a 100% commercial product masquerading as free. It’s deleted incorrectly, leaving traces in the system. It’s a waste of time and added junk to the database.
I purchased the $12 monthly because my website is an “established” WooCommerce site with a ton of images. It did what it says it will do and as I am uploading images it continues to do it! I plan to have it for a month or two and then decide if it’s worth the monthly fee or if dropping back down to the free level will take care of the site.
Tried it to optimize images on my site. Compression works fine and images load a bit faster. But some useful features are locked unless you upgrade. Still ok for basic use tbh.
