Plugin Injects Unsolicited SMTP Menu Item alongside Popup Ads Into Admin

The Plugin “Login Designer” is injecting unsolicited links into the WordPress admin menu (in my case it was an “SMTP” item with link to an “Install this plugin AD”. It also installs banners throughout your admin pages asking for you to install the plugin POST SMTP.
This is borderline unethical practice.
Stay away from this plugin.

Can’t get rid of the ‘*Get Pro’ link in the appearance menu… which is really annoying… to the point where I will have to find an alternative.
Apps that do something like this to force you to upgrade really annoy me.
If I can find an alternative that does’t force me to upgrade with an annoying feature [like this], I will very likely upgrade to their paid version.

I wanted to customise the login/register for FluentAuth, so I tried quite a few login customisers and this one offered the best balance of options for the free version, plus it has a very nice interface and a few useful templates.
