The best lightweight plugin of its kind! I tried it out using the test site. Looks amazing. Just wondering when i clicked on the letter e.g. A or B, i get routed to the blog post (Hello World). Enlighten me please.

Awesome and free WordPress A-Z directory

There is a dozen of WP plugins available in the repository, if you search for “alphabetical” sorting or output. Most of them are for making posts directory and, if have an extended functionality, are not free.

Found Name Directory plugin and immediately recognised its merits: a possibility to create an A-Z list of entries on one page, flexible options such as selectable number of columns and basic style tweaks, a possibility to import an excel or a csv file. Works just fine and fast. And this is a free plugin.

Buscaba un plugin ligero y que permitiese muchísimos términos. Lo cumple y está actualizado con las versiones de WP y encima es gratuito. Cumple todo lo que indica y al ser sencillo es fácil de personalizar si es necesario. No se puede pedir más, ha salido redondo. De 10 **********

I would have paid for a premium version, that allowed me to add and style new categories.

IN its current form? Its that useful.

Rarely, will names not have a category.

Plants – genus.
Baby – origin, gender etc
dogs – breed type.

it just not that usable without this functionality
