Defaults the Image Link option to 'none' when adding a picture to a page or post.

Top alternative: Custom Post Type Permalinks.
By default, WordPress links images to themselves. A user sees that the image is a link, clicks it and they are then taken to a page of just the image. Then they click ‘back’ in their browser or move on to another site.
You could manually remove the link, but that is a pain. Plus, when handing sites over to clients they shouldn’t have to remember to remove it to have a great functioning site.
No Working, Especially if website has a muli-authors blog
every author insert a image as previous setting ignoring this plugin
may be php injection wll help i ll check it in next few weeks
I still use this even tho it’s out of date. Works with WordPress 5.4.
Works out of the box with the latrest version of WordPress (4.3.1 at the time of writing). No configuration necessary. Perfect.
I wonder why wordpress does not have this feature built in. To remove links on all posts/pages is quite a hassle , even if there is not lots of images.
This plugin ensures that I dont accidentally leave a link, where i dont want any.
