I tried a few text reveal modules from some 3rd-party Divi module developers, but this was the the one that did just what I wanted. Just a simple hover & reveal text over an image. What I really like is that it doesn’t use the image as a background, so there is no cropping.

The plug in is easy to install, works right away, easy to use and it does what is supposed to do. If you need images with overlay text that is fully customizable then this is the plug in you need.
