Overview
Adds meta boxes to all post types and allows you to convert the post type of the current post you are editing to a different post type. This very useful when doing an import from another site into one post type that then needs to be filtered into different post types or even to fill dummy posts throughout multiple post types.

Worked for what I needed, which was to convert a few more posts from an old import into pages. But for ongoing work-flow, I find the prominence of the converter meta-box to be too up-front, above the Publish options box on the edit screen. I also don’t like its presence in the list of posts or pages AT. ALL. So, that means I disable it when I don’t need it, or delete entirely. For a short term task, it’s just as advertised.
Would be 5 stars if the bulk function worked!

Great plugin!
After serious and unpredictable issues with a similar one, Post Type Converter has perfectly suited my needs.
I wish it could also convert categories…

I recommend it to everyone who has problems and accidently migrate blog posts with their Comic Posts with the new ComicPress, it has saved a ton of frustration for users.
