No. 1 Podcasting plugin for WordPress.
This is PowerPress, the ultimate podcasting plugin developed by Blubrry Podcasting. Designed by podcasters for podcasters, PowerPress enables you to publish and manage one or multiple podcasts directly from your WordPress website. Strengthen your brand and reach audiences across all major platforms, such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, and more.
You worked so well for so many years. What happened?
Sometimes a transcript link is displayed. And sometimes not. There is no logic for the discrepancy between my episodes and how we upload transcripts and the audio. Same process – week after week for years – and yet — Sometimes audio isn’t playable on your player at my site, but is appearing on all the podcast feeds. So what’s the problem? We can’t say!
I want to be able to have more customization of the player, like the option not to display it on a particular episode. Because your player has become glitchy so when it’s not working I want to take it off an episode page and build my own.
Thanks for working on all the kinks and bugs … I do want to love you more and rate you higher.
The settings for managing your podcast with the PowerPress plugin are very confusing.
But equally disappointing is how buggy it is.
For example if you click on PowerPress, it’ll try to get you to reconnect to Blubrry (even though that’s already been done), using custom post types don’t work the way you’d think, and prepare yourself to have a PowerPress widget on every edit page regardless if you intend to use that post type for podcasting or not.
The Blubrry hosting service is great, but the PowerPress plugin is a nightmare. Pray you can get it working and then don’t touch anything.
Not event bothered to use a custom post type. The interface is a mess.
The Plugin, the Team, the Support, everything is STELLAR. Kudos to an amazing developer!
This plugin does not work at all. I tried it once, then deactivated and deleted it.
Later on, I decided to give it another shot. Somehow, even though I had cleared the WP cache and dropped any and all parts of the database, it remembered the podcast. So, I couldn’t import the episodes, because this stupid plugin said they already existed.
There’s no way for me to delete the podcast and start over.
Huge waste of time.
