ReactPress does 3 things:
Was able to get my installation to work with an app I previously developed; caveats however include the need to have the folder lowercase, a copy of build in the main app folder, and the inability to link the page directly (“Can’t add page” but upon reload and some tweaking around in my host’s file explorer it works somehow). Embed isn’t perfect but is functional: transparent input field is not as such, my text formatting is messed up in typescript, and any redirect breaks the site if there is any security on the recieving end (i.e. if you redirect to github); definitely would recommend in a pinch though, works as advertised.
Unsure how one would do live development outside of hosting oneself; my host has an integrated file explorer that I was able to upload and tweak files in, but I digress.
It’s a really useful plugin, It does only one thing, but it does it well. Thank you for your work!
We use this plugin for our e-commerce operations in the company that I work for. It is being pretty stable and it is easy to build and integrate.
I wish I tried this plugin sooner. Easy to use and does what it says.
I discovered this plugin when it was just a few months old – there were challenges in getting it to work initially, but it turned out to be issues with my understanding of how to set it up – now it is an integral part of my website.
