It just works! I used it with the Overlay Theme, and WordPress 5.7.1., with no issues whatsoever. Previously I had been trying to do something with CSS but without success, until I found this.

Easiest plugin ever! I wanted to get rid of the alarming “Protected” in my page title. It was confusing for website visitors. I installed the plugin, activated it and boom! The Protected was gone. I didn’t have to do anything at all. Thanks!!
I was frustrated to see all my private pages have “Protected” in the title. A quick google to try to find the CSS led me here, which was much easier! Thank you!
