The “Save as PDF” plugin adds a convenient button to your WordPress website, allowing visitors to save the content of the webpage as a PDF file with just a click. This provides the option to read your content offline or share it easily with others. Whether it’s articles, posts, or product pages, “Save as PDF” ensures your website’s content is accessible in a widely used format.
This plugin is an excellent choice when it comes to rendering webpage content into a PDF document. It is feature-rich and highly configurable. The PDF document is not generated on your webserver but on a third-party server operated by PDFCrowd, which eliminates many potential problems.
Without a paid subscription, all generated PDF documents contain a demo watermark and a PDFCrowd branding. While I absolutely understand that developing a plugin and a service on that level needs funding, I am not sure if a plugin that is useless without a subscription should be listed in this repository.
There’s no point in fooling people with a free version that requires an API key to activate, which only lasts 30 days and consumes credits; after that, you have to pull out your credit card…
This plugin accomplished just what we needed for a large clients website. When we ran into an emergency issue, support was quick to respond and did help to provide the solution. This support was a lifesaver to prevent damaging the client relationship \o/
Works great even on pages with dynamic content of all sorts. Support was very responsive for tips and troubleshooting.
I’m using this plugin to create print-ready point of sale graphics via a CPT. It was very easy to set-up and the results, even after minimal tweaks, are just excellent.
I had a couple of queries regarding functionality and Pavel got back to me within minutes, and, more importantly, not only answered my questions but also pointed me in the direction of a better solution to what I needed to do.
I’ve not even got into using it on the live site yet, but based on my testing I’m very confident it will work beautifully.
