BerqWP – Automated All-In-One Page Speed Optimization for Core Web Vitals, Cache, CDN, Images, CSS, and JavaScript

For a normal WP site, in my case built with Brizy, it even works in aggressive mode without breaking things. A year ago it broke the same site. Meanwhile the developers obviously improved this. On FlyWP, Alwyzon and Cloudflare the site is fast, but didn’t have good pagespeedinsights, gtmetrix scores. With the plugin perfect scores. I think best is to avoid mixing it with any other optimization plugins like image optimization. And don’t mix it with Cloudflare rocket loader or similar. So finally I think this is the perfect few click wp optimization plugin working seemlessly with cloudflare.

Third time really is the charm. BerqWP used to break my site, but after consistent updates and hard work from the team, it’s now running smoothly and working great. Props to the developer for sticking with it and improving the product.

We purchased the unlimited plan. We have 60+ sites we began to deploy on and all we’re doing now is troubleshooting issues and eventually uninstalling berqwp which fixes the issues. This plugin is not stable, even for a standard tech stack or the most popular themes. Never had one response from support.

After activating this plugin it caused major issues like Layouts break, images disappear and animated sections fail and sometime site stop working also. Everything only works again when disable the plugin and clear the cache completely also support is extremely poor at all cannot recommend this plugin for live sites due to stability and compatibility issues and lack of support

Removed BerqWP, latest version cached cart/ and checkout/ page even is mentioned in settings to not cache!!!

Update:
The latest versions of the plugin have partially fixed the reported problems, but the problem of slow automatic generation of cache pages remained.


Review:
I already had a caching solution that I was happy with but I was looking for an option to improve my Core Web Vitals score. I searched the net and got the recommendation to test BerqWP. The initial result was WOW, the cache started immediately, the Core Web Vitals scores immediately went from red to green almost to maximum.

The application was limited to the Free version to 10 demo pages, so I paid for the first Starter level which offers 100 cache pages and the first problems appeared, the cache was generated very slowly, in some cases after 2-3 days. After about a month the cache problems also appeared, the pictures no longer appeared on the site regardless of the settings.

I also tried the next level Business Site in the hope that the WOW plugin from a month ago returns to its initial performance, but at the same time the Core Web Vitals scores returned to the initial red values.

I was unable to resolve the issues regardless of the settings, I was left with the impression that the demo version is tweaked and offers enough resources to make you pay, then the performance is set aside after you activate the subscriptions.
