Do what I need very well.
As far as removing archive pages, it does exactly as described on the tin. Author, category, tag, daily, monthly and yearly archive pages can all be disabled independently of each other.
You’ll have to make the appropriate modifications to your theme to avoid broken links, but that’s pretty much to be expected.
It doesn’t remove those pages from the sitemap either (the one generated by vanilla WordPress). See Bence’s code snippet on the plugin’s forums (search for “sitemap”) if you want to achieve that.
