Smart Search & Product Filter for WooCommerce – Searchanise

Searchanise was on our website for about 8 years. They had the best support, and in our opinion, the best searchengine. Unfortunately they have removed our pricing plan, blocking us from logging in to our searchanise admin page, even before the end-date of the plan.

This was all without warning. When questioned why we could not access the panel page they said they had removed the price plan, and wanted us to move to the new plan. And still refused to give us access to the plugin’s admin panel.
It would go from 39 euro’s per year to 33 dollars per month (so about 28 euro)! They wanted to give us a discount but that would still make it about 50 euro’s per year. And we wouldn’t know about the prices for next year. We have said goodbye and went with another populair plugin.

I have to say that after being a long term user of Searchanise, for which we use on 10 sites now, we never have that many issues at all, i recently had a question “not a problem” and reached out to there support once again, in 48 hours i have the solution and solved my query.

Follow up: the problem was fixed after a couple of days. Better communication is needed.

but the support is very fast and the quality is very good. Excellent

I was looking for an ajax powered search plugin for a woocommerce store and came across this. It’s so powerful and displays the results in a great way. It also provides a product category listing page that replaces the existing one, with smart filters that are dynamically created based on the products attributes.

We had an issue with indexing 300k products, and support helped us with the issue, despite later realising the issue was with server settings and not their plugin.
