This plugin is great…when you can figure out how to configure it properly. I’ve set my Follower counts for social media platforms to display in a widget. Bluesky Follower count displays properly. All others display “0.” I’ve posted twice in support forums & once on the plugin website asking for help in fixing this. No response. Not sure anyone monitors their support forum.

But as I said, when it does work it’s great.

I downloaded the Social Snap Pro application and then requested a return. I was told that a return would be processed, but it hasn’t been done. I’ve sent three emails regarding this, but they haven’t responded. Now, I plan to disclose what you did everywhere and file complaints with the relevant authorities.

I made the mistake of paying for the premium version and am having issues with it. The addons offered won’t install. I’ve contacted support many times and haven’t received any answers/help.

I’d recommend avoiding this plugin.

Social Snap was a useful plugin until one day, the developers added a huge, ugly branding message at the bottom of pages without permission. (They disguise this branding as a useful feature to copy the page and share it.) There was no setting we could find to disable it.

We’ll update this review when the developers remove this forced branding or make it opt-in instead of opt-out by using CSS.
