We run a global, tournament based hockey website with over 9700 registered athletes and now over 2600 matches in our tournaments around the world over the past four years, so we needed an application to manage our results history with solid support behind it. Sportspress has been excellent and when ever we ran into any glitch or needed work arounds the Themeboy support have been responsive and excellent in their service.

SportsPress Pro is very good and Themeboy’s support service is fast and very helpful. The plugin has been around for many years and their documentation needs an update as some of the nomenclature has changed. By purchasing the pro version, I was hoping to be able to be able to upload data via csv to populate more of the SportsPress custom fields, but it’s no improvement over the free version which was disappointing (unless I’m missing something, the documentation is not great on this topic). Their API documentation is also a bit lacking for beginners like me.
