The Spreaker shortcode plugin is an easy way to embed Spreaker audio player into your WordPress blog. It works for any Spreaker episode, show, or user. Once you install this plugin, it will work on all of your blog posts.
A simple example:
[spreaker type=player resource="episode_id=3331356"]
More Options
Spreaker shortcode requires the resource play. It can be only of the following:
resource="episode_id=X": id of the episode to embed.resource="show_id=X": id of the show, whose latest episode should be displayed.resource="show_key=X": private key of the show to embed.
The plugin also supports the following optional parameters:
width: player’s width – can be in % or px (ie.100%or400px).height: player’s height – can be in % or px (ie.100%or400px).theme:…

Invalid header error during activation

Unable to activate plugin. I get an invalid header error message when doing so. I suspect it’s because the plugin has not been updated to be compatible with WordPress 5.9.3, which I run on my website.

The “Start play automatically” option doesn’t work or doesn’t exist anymore and the support never respond even though you are paying for a pro plan. Don’t waste time with this rubbish.

Over a year ago I began using the spreaker platform for podcasting. The service itself is great, the folks were responsive and helpful. I came to see spreaker as the WordPress of podcasting. However integrating in my existing WordPress site was cumbersome and time consuming. So I suggested plugin to Spreaker support. Now I don’t know if they were responding to my suggestion but a few month later the spreaker short plugin appeared. It works phenomenally well. The process of embedding podcasts that took multiple steps before is now just a couple steps. Now visitors to our site visit our site to listen to our podcasts driving traffic there. Listeners are presented with an attractive and highly functional player for individual podcasts as well as podcast playlists. If you are looking for a great podcast platform and an excellent plugin to share your podcasts on your site look no further than this plugin in conjunction with the spreaker service. FIVE STARS!
