A simple plugin that adds a full width widget region above the default, columnised Storefront footer widget area. Customise the display by adding a background image and tweaking colors via the Customizer.
This plugin requires the Storefront theme to be installed.
it shows up, no problems
Several prior complaints about it “not showing up” (?) But works fine for me (Oct 2020).
Install to plugins. Activate. Control it through Appearance > “Customiser”, and then through Widgets.
I tried removing all of my CSS and other plugins just to make sure, but as of WordPress 5.3 this plugin doesn’t work. Kind of disappointing since I found this plugin on woocommerce.com
I was hoping to use this with Storefront theme. It appears in the customizer, but nothing shows up on home page.
Many comments in the support that are a year old, with no updates.
Works on WP version 4.9.2 and WC version 3.2.6 even thought it’s not been tested.
I would have thought you would add the widgets on the same area as the colours and background.
