This is by far the best slider plugin I tried. I have used others in the past, but at some point, I hit the wall.
I needed something with a good block editor integration, that could create full-page sliders, and that would be easy to tweak. Super Block Slider checked all the boxes.
The support is another plus for this plugin.
Shoutout to the developer mikemmx for the great job.
I am sooo happy with this slider! I searched and tried for a long time, but most plugins are way too bloated!! Yes, there are slim sliders, but they hardly have any setting options.
Super block slider has everything you need (fade, slide, all important time settings), is intuitive to use and lightweight. 5 stars!
I’ve tested quite a few slider plugins and this one fits my needs the best. Highlights:
1. Lets you edit the slider and add slides through the page you are editing, rather than having to create a create a slider in a plugin settings page and then add to your page
2. Lets you do the above easily in a way that actually makes sense
3. Actively developed, and the developer reacts quickly to support requests
This is what I’ve been looking for, lightweight and esay to use.
And the support is best, Michael help resolve translation issue in few days
The plugin has no dependencies – aka bloat – and is written in vanilla JS – finally! – and is only loaded on the pages where it is used. So it is sufficiently optimised – which has become a rarity in itself.
There are plenty of settings available and it looks really solid and efficient. If I had to point out one flaw, it would be that it does not use an some established and tested small JS slider library, but is custom developed. However, it seems to be small and efficient, and most importantly – has no dependencies.
The only thing I have not figured out is how to use the multi-page slider and if it is even possible – for purposes such as a logo slider and the like.
