Super Web Share – Native Social Sharing Button

Works great for mobile browsers and leverages their built in features. Looks good on desktop, doesn’t push every possible social media icon, could use a few more popular options, but has everything I needed (including Mastodon!). The only function I was missing turned out to be undocumented but was there, and works as expected (custom url on a share).

This is a great plugin for adding share button to your site. I especially appreciate that it works with The Events Calendar plugin on individual events. I took off one star because the interface is a bit clunky and the customization options for buttons (could be overcome with some custom CSS) are limited. Also, it wasn’t clearly stated that the availability of sharing destinations was dependent on the browser from which you are sharing (sharing options on Android is better than the desktop counterparts). For instance, sharing on the desktop browser only shares to your personal Facebook feed, whereas sharing from the Android browsers allow Facebook feed, groups and pages.

This very cool plugin does exactly what I was looking for: one sharing button, that triggers a modal with all the possible apps, or the regular social buttons on desktop AND which I can use with my custom inline button. Yay!

Very easy to set up with plenty of options and customization possibilities!

The plugin does its work, compared to others it’s easy to use on your wordpress. Highly suggested!
The support via email was almost istant and fixed everything as I wanted, so 5 stars review for them.
