There are features in the plugin that simply do not work and you can’t get any support. Their support is only through a forum that is obviously not monitored, as nobody answers any questions posted in it. I would highly advise that you find another solution that is actually supported.
I’ve used this on client websites, and now my own. Easy to set up and display anywhere on your site. I had one issue with too many widgets on the free plan that broke my main widget, but support fixed it promptly!
Unprofessional and unreliable service. Even a ONE star rating is still flattering
TL;DR:
unprofessional and unreliable service. Even a ONE star rating is still flattering.
We’ve been using this service for a client for the past six months, integrating four widgets, each meant to display posts from a different social media channel. In that time, the number of issues we’ve encountered is honestly overwhelming — I don’t even know where to start.
From technical problems (DevTools console is RED from “net::ERR_FAILED” and CORS errors), to data privacy violations (requests made to unrelated sources), to the general unreliability of the entire service — this has been a constant and unacceptable source of frustration.
On multiple occasions, we received emails claiming that our page view quota had been exceeded — something we were able to rule out by checking our server logs, which the provider later admitted was their mistake.
As I’m writing this review, the Tagembed website is down again, showing a “Scheduled Maintenance for Better Experience” message — long past the stated maintenance window. Meanwhile, the widgets on our site are showing “page view limit exceeded” yet again.
This is beyond unprofessional and extremely damaging to our client’s reputation.
Add a URL and it says it isn’t valid. It is vallid, I’m looking at the feed page.
