AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

It’s been years since we had a plug-in crash and take down our entire site but Tidio did just that! We had to get in contact with our host to remove the entire folder and it’s contents off of our cPanel. Looks like we will have to use a different live chat plug-in. Oh well!

I wanted a simple and well-designed live chat for my website. Managed to get 95% of what I wanted through Tidio and I am sure I can use it for much more if needed.
The customer support on Pro was fast and effective, helped me resolve a billing issue at no time.
Definitely coming back in the future.

I’ve been using for more than 2 years and have acquired many sales as a result. Works as described and I use it to see progress of orders and visitors as well. Highly recommended.

We have been with TIDIO for over 8 years. Price was the same every year (150$). Not cheap yet cheaper than what was available back then. (You didn’t yet have free chat solutions such as tawk.io)
Today I was told that my card declined a $500 charge from Tidio…and I am very glad it did!
A Quick Look at previous invoice, prices went like this:
2021: 150$/year
2022: 190$/year
2023: 250$/year
2024: 500$/year
0 notifications, I have never even been told about this. I just realized how they were milking me.
We are just using the chat system. No other features such as AI (which is of course priced extra) or ticketing or anything…just a damn chat system…and we have less customers than we used to, it is not even like we got bigger or anything…
This can legit be called a scam. Thank you Tidio for making me realize that there were cheaper (free) alternatives available in 2025.
Not sure where this strategy of yours is going, but you sure lost a long term customer! And many more to come.
I will make sure to expose your shady business practices whenever I get a chance. This is not only not acceptable, but should actually be called out.
