This is an excellent set of plugins. It’s modular, so there are a dozen or so UMR plugins that work together. I imagine this modular approach makes updates easier.
The ability to create custom fields with various pre-configured formats (i.e. phone, website, etc…) that can then be used in forms and “Advanced Filters” is great. Customer service is responsive and excellent even though our 10-hour time difference made it more difficult for them. I highly recommend this!
I have been using URM for the past 5 years and really like the plugin. I have found it very easy to use and serves my user community very well. With the major upgrade to 5.1.0 I had a problem and user support (Uzwal) helped me immediately! He actually gave me a temporary zip file fix that allowed my website to keep functioning. The current 5.1.5 version now has the permanent fix for my problem. Uzwal and the entire support group were always timely with their communication to me.
My community needed the ability to register and log into my website for security reasons. URM does this very well. I find it pretty easy to use and I like the welcome screen when the user initially logs in. Since I am using the free version of the plugin that is the extent of what we use the plug in for. I like that the free version gives very good functionality.
Again, I thank them very much and I highly recommend this plugin. Thank You!!
Firstly, I want to say that the free support offered by user registration and membership plug-in is first class. Not only was Uzwal personable and respectful, but he helped identify issues that needed addressing quickly. I am not a professional web designer and yet I have to maintain an important site for our organisation. His quick understanding of issues and the ability to resolve them is greatly appreciated. The plug-in itself does what I needed to do particularly with the login and registration forms for Courses we run online with MemberPress Courses. The ability to organise memberships, assign members, subscriptions and roles, and use customised restrictions – all in one place. We don’t use the payment facilities, but if I did, it’s all there, and if I went to the pro version, I’d get the analytics of that as well. I think what I like most is the integration with existing plug-ins that we’re using. One feature I found particularly easy (though Uzwal did have to remind me to clear the cache) was setting up reCAPTCHA in the login and registration. It was so simple. Thanks for the free version URM. It’s a great gift to small user like us.
its free and works well
