VdoCipher: Secure Video Player and Hosting

My organization relies on VdoCipher for all its streaming needs. For nearly four years, it has been rock solid, streaming and protecting our content. But this wouldn’t matter if VdoCipher didn’t integrate flawlessly with WordPress. This plugin makes that possible. It is set-and-forget, and works well with both mobile and desktop video. It is easy to recommend. Five stars.

Since 2017, my client desperately needed a better way to secure the sales of online training videos hosted on a WordPress site. State of the art solutions were great for Netflix, but not practical for our budgets. So we crossed our fingers that the combination of technologies available would be enough to deter theft until something better turned up. Thankfully, we found VDO Cipher in 2019.

The courses are managed with the WP Courseware plugin and it took only a few mouse clicks to load the VDO Cipher plugin and integrate it with the LMP. It has worked flawlessly. My client and I no longer worry about losing revenue due to the theft of the training course videos.

Since then, we have had only a couple of instances needing support and support was surprisingly fast, usually within a few hours, even with the time zone differences. Great solution, great service. Highly recommend.

Simple shortcode implementation to embed DRM protected videos anywhere on your site. Does what it says well, but that’s it.

We are using this plugin since about 2 years, it’s easy to install and use, we didn’t face any issues regarding the usage of this plugin, the support of VdoCipher is awesome, they are always ready to help us.

Great plugin for secure video streaming.
Just only one missing feature: adding support for multiple accounts… Actually, the plugin allows to manage one Vdocipher account for WP integration.
It would be great to add multiple accounts management in same plugin installation.
