Some amazing features:
Unfortunately, I am forced to come on here to write a review. I bought the pro version in December 2025, and the product keys have never worked. I enter them and I get an error: Dangit. Unknown error: missing_item_id.
Since December, I’ve emailed support, used their website chat, and even sent the developer a DM on X.com. No response whatsoever. Very frustrating and this plugin needs to be pulled from WordPress. I can’t even get a refund.
Unfortunately I need to join the chorus of people decrying this plugin. The support team appears to be AWOL. They’ve been incorrectly billing me twice for a theme, and promised to escalate my refund request months ago, but nothing has happened. I also contacted them about a PHP error in the plugin but have received no response. Hopefully the author is ok, as this plugin appears to have been abandoned.
Keep looking for other solutions for your video needs. This company will TAKE YOUR MONEY and not solve your problem when their plugin does not work. The will stop responding and are not helpful as they promised. Beware of the 30-day money back guarantee…they promise to fix your problem but they will ignore you in hopes that you give up and the 30 days trial phase expires and then you are stuck losing $99 to this fraudulent company. THEY ARE A FRAUD!
On Sep. 25 (it is now Oct. 4) I was notified by visitors of broken videos on my site. It was the second time in 9 months that the vimeography plugin has (most likely) deleted its own metadata, resulting in our site breaking.
Support has been unhelpful -at best- and now does not respond to emails, their support box and/or twitter(x) at all.
Overal this plugin COULD be recommended but seeing you basically get a FU when problems occur… I would not recommend this, highly overpriced, plugin
Whenever I had a question or needed help, the vimeography support was always there for me with quick solutions and workarounds. really appreciate your team
