To provide visitor geolocation and analytics, this plugin makes server-side requests to the external service ipinfo.io.
ipinfo.io (Third-Party Service)
- What it is: An IP address data provider used to identify the visitor’s country and city.
- What data is sent: The visitor’s public IP address is sent from your server to the ipinfo.io API. No personal data (emails, names, or passwords) is transmitted.
- When data is sent: Data is sent upon every new visitor session to categorize the traffic origin.
