Are you looking for a social wall solution to showcase posts from various social platforms right on your website?
With Walls.io you can collect posts, photos and videos from multiple social media networks in one place and display them in a customizable social media feed that you can easily embed into your website. Unlike other social walls, Walls.io goes beyond social media also giving you the possibility to let visitors upload content directly to the wall using Direct Posts.
To use this plugin you first need to get a social wall account on walls.io, where you can create and customize a social media feed and add sources to it.
The Walls.io WordPress plugin makes it very easy for you to add your social media feed to WordPress. No programming skills are needed. It only takes a minute.
Says that after the 2 week trial, the plugin will revert to a free plugin that would work with facebook. However, it does not – it just STOPS and apparently won’t work without purchasing a subscription.
Walls.io is a plugin that pipes social media feeds into the web. I think the intention is for it run the big advertising hoardings with individual social media campaigns, but i could be wrong.
Walls is the best method i have found so far and I am really quite pleased with it.
Support was instant via their chat when a big problem appeared and was fixed within a day, with lots of contact to keep me updated with progress.
The only gripe I have is that the pricing structure keeps the small people like me no option but to stick with the free version.
There is absolutely no way I could get my clients onto the first pro rung at £180/month – they would just laugh me out of the office.
Fantastic plugin, but paid for versions too expensive for me.
After trying a lot of social media feeds and walls over the years, I’m really glad we found this one. It works really well, the touch behaviour is really good so it’s not confusing trying to work out whether you’re scrolling the main window or the social feed on mobile.
The WordPress plugin makes it really easy to embed the wall. We had an issue with the plugin and the latest version of WordPress and the live chat support were so responsive – the bug was patched within 24hrs and they stayed in touch to make sure we were back up and running. And I’m only using the free version!
Really impressive. 🙂
OK, this plugin is limited, with a pro version aimed squarely at companies with large social media budgets, but if it does enough for your site, then you won’t find a better free plugin!
Quick and easy to setup a Walls.io account, with an excellent user-friendly and feature-rich GUI which means you’ll have a live feed on your site in minutes. In my case, the end result is a slick & attractive pinterest-style masonry wall of my image/video tweets.
The only downside is the WALLS.IO branding which is a little heavy, appearing as both an acceptable ‘Powered By’ (enable header to push to bottom) and a harder to ignore image card appearing in your feed every 10 tweets (guys, could you ….?) Otherwise, 5 stars.
Great, If you’re willing to pay €500 a month!
Seriously, you need a premium account if you want to set things up properly. which will cost you €500 per 30 days!!
Have to say that it works well and is easy to use though.
