Used this plugin to customize my WordPress admin panel. Much easier for clients to navigate. Clean icons, color control, and page restrictions.
This plugin made my WordPress backend so much cleaner! I manage a lot of posts and categories, and the post manager’s filters and quick edit tools are super efficient. Great time-saver.
A Excelent Job!!!
As the name suggests, I like Custom Admin Interface to focus more in admin area. Instead the plugin attempts to do customize too many other things. Sure I can just leave the settings I don’t want alone. But I also want a lean and simple plugin that focuses on its primary purpose.
Update: per author’s response, I’m adding one more for star. My stance is still that the plugin is too bloated with too many features making it complicated to use than necessary when you need a few main features. It could be better use for those who want one stop shop solutions. I prefer to keep my site lean and install only what’s needed for better performance and security.
My admin toolbar has been changed and doesn’t have half the functions it had before. When the plugin is uninstalled, the admin toolbar remains damaged. Fortunately, I always make backups before installing a new plugin.
My advice is: don’t install it.
