WPGatsby is a free open-source WordPress plugin that optimizes your WordPress site to work as a data source for Gatsby.
This plugin must be used in combination with the npm package gatsby-source-wordpress@^4.0.0.
Install and Activation
WPGatsby is available on the WordPress.org repository and can be installed from your WordPress dashboard, or by using any other plugin installation method you prefer, such as installing with Composer from wpackagist.org.

Seems clear this is the new way to build a lot of sites, thanks to this kind of connection! I’ve built a few sites now using this plugin and the proof is in the pudding… great work and a great team wanting to push things forward and help make it happen.

The combination of WordPress with Gatsby is a game-changer for multiple reasons. This plugin is the perfect glue for that combination, along with WPGraphQL!
I have been following the development of this plugin from early on. The folks at Gatsby – Jason, Tyler have worked super hard on this plugin – and the results speak for themselves!
Jamstack with WP and Gatsby is my go-to stack for when someone needs a fast site. I couldn’t be happier to see this plugin on the repo, making blazing fast sites accessible for more folks getting into this stack!
