Add predefined regions to WP Job Manager submission form.
As of April 2026, Regions for WP Job Manager is a WordPress job plugin with 8.0K+ active installations and a 3/5 rating from 10 reviews. It has been downloaded 402K+ times in total. Requires WordPress 4.7.0+ and PHP false+. Available on WordPress.org since 2013. Downloads are down 6% this week. Top alternative: Contact Listing for WP Job Manager.
Adds a “Job Region” taxonomy so the site administrator can control a set of predefined regions listings can be assigned to.
Note: Listings are not filtered by regions. They are simply used as an organization tool.
Astoundify has released two themes that are fully integrated with the WP Job Manager plugin. Check out “Jobify” and our WordPress Directory theme “Listify”
If you like this plugin, consider exploring our other themes and plugins:
Appointify Appointify App, is the first Appointments Planner for WordPress, for Busy Enterpreneurs and Founders. Appointify allows you to share your calendar and have your funnel start by others planning appointments on top of it – with their own calendar authorized.
It works. Thanks a lot.
Just add more feature or guide us how to show Regions in job detail view is perfect.
This plugin has not been maintained for a LONG TIME.
If you install it, it makes your website “crash permanently” as the “jquery” used in it, is no longer supported.
@astoundify, the developer, has two themes that work with WordPress Job Manager: Jobify and Listify. I think it is not a good reference to offer these themes in the description of the plugin, seeing that they do not respond to anyone at support threads, nor give an explanation, nor update the plugin even knowing that it damages hundreds of clients (followers) websites.
They should be a little more professional… and take care of faithful clients that use their plugin and that they gaved them their trust 🙁
Sadly, this plugin is a poor idea. They SHOULD of used a drop down to query WP-Job Manager by the cords search found. Unfortunately, they convert the WP Job Manager Search fields to a drop down that uses a Taxonomy. This means it wont be compatible with many themes and plugins. I suggest using an AutoComplete field or a Select2 Field with AutoComplete locations. Maybe a predefined listing of jobs that set the cords and distances of the search.
Sad to see the plugin developer let this go or another hasn’t offered to continue updating it; it’s worth paying for. Many directory themes rely on it.
This plugin has not been updated for the last three updates for WordPress and no longer works.
