3CX Free Live Chat, Calls & Messaging

I was told to uninstall this plugin for optimal of web management.

This is an excellent and stylish free plugin, created by a great company. My only criticism is how the chat bubble displays on mobile. If they fix this I’ll change my review from 4 to 5 stars. The chat bubble hugs the browser corner instead of having padding. Or at least letting us change the padding. On iPhones, specifically using Chrome browser, the bubble is cut partially off the screen when scrolling down..because of the rounded shape of the iPhone screen. I looked at a few other users sites using chat, same result. Add some padding to mobile.

Using their other option, the embed code, you can add padding, but it breaks the full screen chat window..pushes the chat up and left off the page by however much padding was added.

As said in the title, it works beautifully. You can tweak its appearance on the admin panel and choose if you want chat only or chat and call. Great. The only downside in my opinion is the button position on mobile. You can’t adjust margins and on my website it is too close to the screen border. I am pretty sure I will be able to do that with custom CSS, but it would be nice to be able to do that through the plugin settings.

While the concept is ideal, settings and experience are disconnected. Plugin does not follow any tailoring of the experience within 3CX admin panel. Desktop opens chat by default and mobile remains with icon only(desired on both).

Have tried this multiple times over a couple years, would like this to be unified with our phones. However without a predictable end user experience, it’s not an option – would appreciate a dedicated focus on making this a beautiful experience.
