This plugin allows you to append a signature after every post. Some variables can be used.
As of April 2026, WP Post Signature is a WordPress signature plugin with 1.0K+ active installations and a 3.8/5 rating from 13 reviews. It has been downloaded 52K+ times in total. Requires WordPress 3.0+ and PHP false+. Available on WordPress.org since 2011. Last updated 4 years ago — may have compatibility concerns. Downloads are up 15% this week. Top alternative: GD bbPress Tools.
This plugin allows you to append a signature after every post. Some variables can be used, such as %post_title%, %post_link%, %bloginfo_name%, %bloginfo_url%, and so on. It supports multiuser.
It works, but it’s fiddly to specify what pages you want the signature to appear on. You can select by page type or categories, or add a shortcode where you want it; but it would be easier to have a simple on/off option in the editor.
Thank you for making this available.

This plugin does exactly what I hoped. I was confused by having to put HTML in the box, but easily done by making your signature on a page in ‘view’ and then using the ‘text’ which is the HTML. (in case anyone else didn’t know this?) 5 STARS. If I can use it, anyone can.
Put simply, this is the worst plugin and developer that I have ever dealt with. The app is inconsistent, expensive to license and the support is slow and competent.
