Advanced All in One Admin Search by WP Spotlight

The plugin looked ver promising, look and feel are exactly what I want. I noticed that the search will include pages/posts that doesn’t contain the search words however the words matched because they were in the source code of the page. Draft pages didn’t show up either.

I wanted to add this in the support queue and saw that the last update was 9 months ago and that all support issues are not answered. Looks like an abandoned plugin.

The plugin basically works fine, but not for ACF fields (post meta) used in WooCommerce products. We are using ACF fields for products (Woo) and the plugin does not return any entries when searching for strings that are in the ACF fields although we did check the boxes for products and post meta in the settings of the plugin.
Maybe the post meta search needs to be extended for WooCommerce.

WP Spotlight Search is Perfect

Such a fantastic plugin! I’m a frequent user of Spotlight on MacOS, and WP Spotlight has allowed me to hide most of my admin menu items because I can now just search for them when I need them. It’s also very well-maintained. Thanks so much for building such a useful plugin! 🙂

I think the plugin is really great.

I just tested it a bit. A really good backend search for admins and editors.

Does it also work with content from ACF – Advanced Custom Fields?
I have already created fields but no content yet.
