WP Super Edit is designed to get control of the WordPress wysiwyg visual editor and add some functionality with more buttons and customized TinyMCE plugins. WP Super edit acts as framework for TinyMCE visual editor plugins and buttons allowing administrators (or users) to arrange buttons and add TinyMCE plugins to the visual editor.

Features
WP Super Edit has given me a lot of control over TinyMCE in the past but with the release of WP5.0, TinyMCE has brought a lot of customization possibilities by itself.
If you’re running an older installation of WP (up to 4.90), then WP Super Edit will definitely make your TinyMCE Advanced a little more superior but with the release of WP5.0, I think this plugin got obsolete as changes in WP Super Edit’s options did not bring the changes expected but rather brought all the buttons in an unlogical order!
To the developer: If I wrong, please let me know!
Does not work. Installs fine and then nothing, even after manipulating the button and finishing the install.
Doesn’t show up on 4.7.3
not working properly
It doesn’t appear in WP 4.5.3.
In this case it’s completely useless. Why does it say:
Requires: 4.2 or higher?????
| WordPress | 4.2+ requiredTested up to 5.4.0 |
| PHP | false+ required |
